History of Quins DVD: "Nunquam Dormio"

Nunquam Dormio: 140 years of Quins’ rugby. You may know that I produced ‘The Singing Lions’, a DVD/CDROM set about the 1950 British Lions tour to Australia and New Zealand, which has been nominated in two categories in the 2006 Celtic Film and Television Festival.
To celebrate the 140th season of Harlequin’s rugby in 2006/7, I am proposing to produce a DVD celebrating Quins’ rugby and the contribution that the club has made to the game. The profits from the sales of the DVD will go to the Richard Langhorn Trust.
The DVD would be a film containing along with footage from the 1920s to the present day interviews with Quins from various eras who have contributed to the club either on or off the pitch. I would hope to include interviews with Jason Leonard, Peter Winterbottom and Bob Hiller amongst others. The film could be a straight chronological narrative or it could be loosely chronological with a number of themes e.g. cup glory, sevens prowess, Quins that have shaped rugby, Quins’ family, the future, etc.
If there is a demand for it I could include a CDROM. This would include profiles on famous players, presidents of the club and other notable club characters; club honours both on and off the field, both individual and team; playing statistics; pen pictures on affiliated clubs around the world; more detail about the Richard Langhorn Trust, etc. For those who want a better idea of what a CDROM can contain, look at the one within ‘The Singing Lions’.
