Another weekend with no Saints action, so here’s second quiz to while away the time. Can you explain the connections between the items within each of these lists?As before, it may take a meeting of minds to come up with the solutions. If you can’t piece together all the parts for each question post your thoughts on here to see if anyone else can finish them off.One additional rule this time – any person named below is not allowed to answer that particular question!
If any remain unanswered by Tuesday evening I will put you out of your misery.

Why is Alfred Letourneur a link in number 8? Is it a clue? I clicked on it, and it said that he was a cyclist and world record holder. Wasn't the Flying Scotsman a record holder too? Is it something to do with setting world speed records?
Also, I think the connection for number 9 is mice. Burns wrote "To a Mouse", Steinbeck wrote "Of Mice and Men", and the two pan-dimensional beings that created Deep Thought were mice named Franky and Benjy in our universe...

2. Titanic -last stop-overs?
5. Summat to do with firsts. Countdown, first programme on C4, Gibbs, first tv ad and Play School, first show on bbc2. Can't make the George Martin connection (unless he was the first Beatles producer).

Phil: Correct with Q2. At the time Cobh was known as Queenstown. And your three out of four for Q5 are correct. For the missing bit it's nothing to do with the Beatles.

1. There were two of each, one of whom changed their name to avoid confusion; James Stewart and Stewart Granger; Harry Corbett (Sooty) and Harry H. Corbett (Steptoe); David Bowie and Davy Jones (Monkees)

9 is Mice, Rabbie Burns "One Brown Mouse", Steinbeck "Of Mice and Men" and 2 mice are central to the Hitchikers Guide. Sorry Jon didnt see your answer as I scanned through so got beaten to it ))))))

Q3: Bob Harris (broadcaster), Chris Hoddle (COYS contributor) and Ashley Ingram (pop star and songwriter) were all pupils at Trinity School. Bryan West (Saints & England) was a sports teacher there in 1969-70.

7 looked like something to do with a battle, so I must confess, I googled Dangan and Blackrock Hills...
The link is Arthur Wellesley.
He was the first Duke of Wellington (No 1), and grew up in Dangan Castle. He fought the battle of Waterloo on the 18th June, and a memorial to commemorate the victory was put up on Blackdown Hills.
Still don't know what extra you want for the mice though!

Jon: 3 out of 4 for the Duke of Wellington. No.1 doesn't relate to being first, so you will need to have another bash at that.
Regarding the mice, everything mentioned above is relevant but not a lot I more can say without giving away the answer. Yes, I am being pedantic for this one.
No one has attempted Q6 yet; doesn't anyone read the newspapers these days?

So did Spike - - but I suspect there is another link also
St James is the ho,e of LONDON UNDERGROUND (now TfL) who own and publish the Map
F b-k was inadvertently ommitted from an advert for the 2012 Olympics (1948 legends on a Tube map)
