MoTM: Bath AP Away - 3 out of 3

Week three found Saints on the road again and once more it was a tricky away trip to th West country. Bath, a former power house of English rugby, may be awakening from their slumbers but a visit to the Rec is never easy.It wasn't the prettiest of games but after conceeding a try in the first couple of minutes Saints power wore down Bath and in the end it was a deserved victory.Note that from this week you can find links to all the Man of the Match reports at the top of the page.

Jim described Samu as his best signing ever and watching his display at the Rec it wasn't hard to understand why. He is still raw but now in his second season he is a much more assured player. The hits are still huge and many are looking forward to seeing him and Courtney in tandem. I am not sure many of the opposition scrum and fly halves are of that opinion though.
Well done also to Stephen Myler who controlled the game really well in his first start of the season and also kicked his points with aplomb.

Nothing too instructive on the rotation, or other policy, at the Saints as most changes appear to have been injury related so far. Jim seems to know his best 15 apart from maybe at flayhalf.
