Northampton Saints will open up their 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership Rugby campaign with a trip to Kingsholm to face Gloucester Rugby in round one, with the fixtures confirmed today in London. Taken from t'offy
The Franklin’s Gardens faithful will then be given their first glimpse of the men in Black, Green and Gold in the Premiership as they return to home soil for consecutive weeks to take on London sides Harlequins and Saracens.

Saints round off September with two trips to the West Country, facing Bath Rugby and newly-promoted Bristol Bears, before a rip-roaring East Midlands derby against Leicester Tigers precedes the first European break of the season.
“A trip to Kingsholm to play Gloucester Rugby is one of the Premiership’s most special experiences, and I look forward to kicking-off my tenure at Saints there,” said new director of rugby Chris Boyd. “I am already hugely excited about our first game at Franklin’s Gardens against Harlequins, and hearing the Saints’ supporters in full voice.”
Other dates for Saints supporters’ diaries include the visit of midlands-rivals Wasps to Northampton in November, a home Christmas clash with Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs, and a trip to Welford Road to take on Tigers in late March. Boyd’s side will round off their season next May by locking horns with Worcester Warriors at home, before a trip to Chiefs on the final day of the regular league season.

So something else to look forward to and start planning some trips to some of the away matches, just hope BT Sports are also quick off the mark

The clubs get the fixtures before this I expect there is an embargo until 11 but there will be someone out there that will leak it.

Not an easy start!
BT are showing this game as starting at 2pm and one of their two chosen games for the first Saturday of the new season (the other being Exeter hosting Leicester at 4:30pm).
We face our nemesis side from last season at home on Saturday 15th. Time for a bit of revenge???

Outraged, totally bloody outraged that from December onwards our games start at midnight, for the benefit of overseas TV audiences I suppose. Typical of the clubs to take the TV pieces of silver and not spare a thought for us actual supporters*
Couple of qenuine questions:
1) when are the Challenge Cup games announced to help fill in the blanks?
2) can somebody technical but with the patience of a Saint (ba dum tish) tell me how to transfer the fixture list to my online calendar?

It's still pre-season so possibly our moaners aren't match fit yet plus some of our best moaners are still on holiday and yet to return for pre-season practice.*

First thing I looked at was where might some of the easier games be ?.? Answer there are no easy games anymore and looking at how some of the teams performed last season along with the signings made during the summer it could be a very close season again but lots of Rugby to play and a BIG need to get behind the team all season.

I am on holiday for the first two home games. I wish to moan that the fixtures people haven't adapted the calendar to my personal whims.
