Half an hour in and Wanderers are really struggling to hold the Wasps pack. Nice opportunist try for Tupai but not much else happening attack-wise

It would be nice to watch a game where we don't get scrummed to death

Much better so far in the second half with 2 tries, Tupai's second and one for Freeman - now 26-12 Wandies

I think Garside said something about the refs mum.

Tupai got charged down to concede a try and again Wandies under pressure in the scrum - some subs now on. Lineout also looking flakey and Wasps score again - now 26-22. Wandies go close but can't convert and give away a penalty

To some it up we look decent on the ball but set piece has been woeful. Wasps are the other way around.

Game over - not a very good game but Wandies scraped home 26-22. It was the first really competitive match of the season for both teams and by golly it showed !

I know Garside and Trinder are very young but they are supposed to be real prospects.... seems disappointing we get bossed up front. Still, a wins a win, some good tries and Tommy Freeman looks a player

A bludgeon against a rapier - and this time the rapier won.

Love the streaming, managed to watch it on the flight between Denver and LaGuardia.
Some nice attack lines being run. Olowofela, Freeman, and Strachan looked promising.
I was impressed by the ref not giving a penalty for a scrum which Wasps were trying to milk, telling their scrum half he can’t delay putting the ball in “for ten minutes”.

Didn't I see tomooga-allen playing for wasps? An All Black against Trinder.
Let's give our lads some credit

To be fair that side of the scrum seemed to hold up well.

Kudos to the Saints team for putting this game on to a stream.
Should consider the open mike, listening to someone at half time wittering on about his mum was OK, but had he said something ill-advised, they might now be regretting the decision!
950+ watching with me, according to the YouTube tab. And it looked a goodly crowd in the ground, too.
The team was young, and it showed! I have to say I was not impressed by some of the Wasps' play. As said earlier, it seemed to be a bludgeon. Without much thought, either. Fat boy mentality. Glad it didn't come off.
Some bright rays of sunshine on the pitch. Coles stood out, particularly after he and the ref had some words in the second half.
Freeman showed some nice touches - but one or two howlers as well.
Olowefela (spelling?) was fleet of foot, but I hope he learns to pass the ball a pace or two earlier, once the gap has been prised open, but before he runs into his tackler.
A good way to spend an hour!

Great to be able to watch the match and impressed that they had more than one camera! I watched on my phone and found the text messaging quite annoying as it covered a good part of the screen. Is it possible to turn that off?
Well done Saints - a really good initiative.
