New Years TV Rugby schedule

MAny thanks go to Chris Hoddle for supplying us with the New Years TV rugby listings

Happy New Year. I hope that everyone is able to have an enjoyable one.

The games I have listed are correct at 2pm on Tuesday 28th December. It wouldn’t surprise me if a few more are lost to Covid the game scheduled for Wednesday at Bath is off. (Ted Edit, I've marked a couple as PP as I spent an extra day away before publishing!)

I am not sure Saints will be able to find away around Saracens rush defence this Sunday. Seems to me that every team that does that stops us playing but we don’t have a good enough defence to stop them. May be another pointless game for Saints.

Is it the first non-televised Sarries game, when we play them?

We played out last game on Monday
Gives the players the opportunity to celebrate New Years with the family and not have to worry too much about rest
Cashing in on more people being available with New Year’s Day a big day for being with family
Probably a better bar take when it wasn’t a big night the night before

All guess work, but most likely because we had a Monday fixture.
