Jackett Can't Wait

The new Manager of Swansea City, Kenny Jackett has revealed that he can't wait to get started in his new position at the Vetch Field.  Speaking before his appointment he said that becoming the Swans Manager would be the proudest day of his career.

In an interview with the Western Mail, Jackett said:  "Becoming manager of Swansea City would be the proudest day of my career. I really mean that."

"Swansea City is a club with huge potential and I'm looking forward to the challenge. I can't wait to get started.

"My last two jobs have been as a No 2, but I've always wanted to be a manager myself and this job at Swansea is a fantastic opportunity for me.

"It's a super club with passionate fans and I hope everything goes well for me there.

"I understand the chairman has said publicly that I was always his first choice and that's really nice and flattering to hear."
