Trundle: New Manager Has Impressed

Swansea City top goalscorer, Lee Trundle has said that new Manager, Kenny Jackett has already impressed the players during training. The former Wrexham striker revealed that all the players had taken to him early on.

"He's enthusiastic and been working on some shapes we're going to play. He's got involved straight away and all the lads are up for it," Trundle told BBC Sport.

"I was upset when Brian Flynn and Kevin Reeves left because they were the main reason I came down to Swansea.

"But these things happen in football and you've just got to get on with it. We'll give the new manager 100%."

Speaking about his return to his former club Rhyl tomorrow night Trundle said: "I've still got a lot of friends back there It was a good club for me because it gave me my chance to get into League football."

"It's the first time I've gone back there to play since I left so I'm looking forward to it.

"I went back just after I signed for Wrexham to watch one of the games, but this will be the first time I've played there."
