Regional Predictions 2008-2009
I don't think any season of regional rugby has been straight forward to predict so far. This Summer has seen significant upheaval, with both the Newport Gwent Dragons and Llanelli Scarlets making personnel changes a-plenty. Lyn Jones aside, the Arms Park and Liberty Stadium present a fairly settled picture.

Roberts' Centre Switch
With Wales struggling for depth at full back, it would seem odd that Jamie Roberts look set to continue where he ended the tour to South Africa, at inside centre. In June it was almost as if Roberts move was a reflex one, in order to bulk up the Welsh midfield, but now it could signal a more long-term switch for the Cardiff Blues player.

It was about time that David Moffett broke his silence, again. He chose yesterday's Wales on Sunday to lament plan's for a fifth regional side, describing his predecessors moves as “lunacy”. This is hardly surprising coming from a man who's downfall was practically sealed in his decision to axe the Warriors.

Tom Willis is not just another foreigner
He's a twice capped All Black with countless Super 12 and 14 experience, he's one of those dynamic modern hookers, who can actually hit his jumper when throwing in. The last bit alone is justification to have him playing his rugby in Wales.
