Great news for all Rovers' fans, as 3 very talented players have all signed extensions to their contracts. Ryan Taylor is the third youngster to put pen to paper and pledge their future to the club. The right back has played a big part in the team this season-only missing 1 game through suspension.

For poaches of the footballing world this is bad news. For us Rovers fans its fantastic news.

Three of the most promising and most talented players have all signed contract extensions in the past few weeks. Iain Hume got the ball rolling, after a lot of contraversity over him going to Preston. He thankfully turned down the move and vowed to stay and play for Tranmere.

Now with the future of probably the best player at the club secured, others, who had their contracts on their mind, could see the intentions of the club.

The first player to see this was Danny Harrison. The central midfielder admitted that Hume signing was a major factor in him finally deciding for the contract extension.

This already was brilliant news, as both these players had either been scouted or rumoured to be going elsewhere.

But the icing on the cake is defintely Ryan Taylor following suit. The right back decided to put pen to paper last week and hasn't looked back since.

Taylor has played every game of the season apart from the 6-1 thrashing of Hull last game, but this was only because of suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards.

Every since pulling on the shirt fro the first time back in 2000 against Hartlepool, Taylor has made 96 appearances and 14 goals.

Ryan has scored 5 already this season from right back, four of which being penalties.

Total Tranmere wish all the best to all the players and a great season!
