Little Chasing Henry?

Tranmere were reportedly among at least three clubs represented at a Stoke City reserve game yesterday with Rovers boss Brian Little thought be interested in City's former England Under 21 Midfielder Karl Henry.

The midfielder asked the club for a transfer earlier this season when he found his first team chances limited at the Britannia Stadium but is thought that Stoke would demand a small fee for the player.

Brian Little, who lives in the Potteries area was at yesterdays reserve game and it is thought that Henry was the player he was particuarly looking at though a number of other promising young players were on show.

With Tyrone Loran already gone from Tranmere and Alan Navarro and now David Beresford possibly set to follow Brian Little may be looking to strengthen his squad slightly.

Despite Brian Little seemingly not wanting to sign anymore players this season, the fact that he is rapidly reducing his squad numbers may yet mean that there may be at least one more incoming player before the end of the season.
