Navarro Plays for Reserves

It is thought that Alan Navarro could still be on his way League Two side to Macclesfield Town this week despite having failed to agree a permanent deal with the Silkmen in discussions earlier this week.
Navarro spent two months on loan at Moss Rose at the turn of the year and his spell there was hailed by most as a success. Macclesfield appear keen to sign the former Liverpool youngster on a permanent basis and it appears that Rovers will not stand in the way of him leaving either.
Speaking to the Daily Post on Tuesday, Brian Little said:
“I don' t have a problem with Alan coming back and if he is here on Wednesday he will play in the reserves. But negotiations with Macclesfield are still ongoing”
Ultimately, Navarro played a full ninety minutes for the reserves in a 2-0 win over Walsall with goals coming from Gary Jones and Chris Dagnall’s penalty after he was fouled. The game also turned rather sour with a 21-man brawl resulting in red cards for Tranmere’s Steven Jennings and Walsall’s Lee Vaughan and Kyle Perry. This means that unless an appeal is successful, Jennings will be unavailable for Rover’s next three crucial home games away at Bournemouth and Hartlepool either side of a home match against Hull City.
If Navarro does indeed leave Prenton Park this week he will be the third player to leave this season after loan spells elsewhere. Young Striker Paul Robinson is now playing for Conference side York City and Tyrone Loran spent a month on loan at League One side Port Vale before leaving Tranmere to returning to his Dutch homeland to play top flight football with RC Roosendaal.
