Montrose take on Bairns at Links Park on Tuesday

Montrose take on Falkirk in the Second Round of the Challenge Cup at Links Park on Tuesday. The last match between the teams was a friendly at Links Park last July.

Falkirk sneaked through the 1st round of the Challenge Cup with a penalties victory over Stenhousemuir. However, their league form has been impressive and they have maximum points from their 2 games against Ayr and St Mirren.

Their team boasts a number of players who have played at the highest level (Owen Coyle, John Hughes, Kevin James) and a player who is sure to get a warm reception at Links Park(!), Arbroathian, Steve Tosh.

Falkirk boast one of the coolest sponsors in the league, Budweiser Budvar, which presumably is the superior Eastern European version of the nasty US brew(I know nothing about beer, you see...)

The friendly between the sides at the start of last season ended 3-0 to Falkirk.
