THE BAD RUN CONTINUES

So a new year derby defeat away to Arbroath, a home defeat against Albion Rovers then another 5 goal humping, this time at the hands of Queens Park what is the story at Links Park?

The New Years game at Arbroath highlighted everything the supporters knew about Davie Robertson he lacked tactical ability his ideas for the game, play one up front give Stirling the ball and kick it long was painful for the Montrose fans who travelled through.

Then with a weekend off thanks to the Scottish cup we rolled on to the home game against the Wee Rovers. Montrose were unlucky not to steal a win from this game but again shocking defending cost us bad. The plus side from this game was that we finally scored some goals at home. Although this proved to be the last straw as Robertson finally saw sense and handed in the resignation letter.

As for Saturday I didn't travel myself but with Kenny Black in the dig out being assisted by the under 19's coach and getting some advice from Kerrigan we got trounced 5-0. From speaking to folk who were at the game Donnachie & Cumming both had shockers.

The board are in no rush to appoint a new manager but unless there is definite leadership this is going to continue. Who wants to take on the posion chalice that is the Montrose manger's job?
