Montrose maintained our good record against Elgin and consolidated seventh place at Borough Briggs.

A David McKay own goal as he attempted to clear a cross opened the scoring in 34 minutes.

Montrose followed up with a goal by Robbie Henderson from a corner in 65 minutes and the points were safe.
