Fed up waiting for the new season? Pine no longer, as Montrose's six (count them...) July pre-season friendlies are announced with cut-price admission. Read on...

Montrose prepare for the new season with the announcement of six pre-season friendlies in 12 days in July. The programme is as follows:

Mon 14 July: Keith (H)
(the return of Marty Allan)

Wed 16 july: Brechin (A)
(good to give Campbell's side a fright before their Division One programme)

Sat 19 July: Aberdeen (H)
(a split Aberdeen first team as they play another friendly at the same time)

Tue 22 July: Forfar (H)
(Is Ray Stewart the right man for the Loons? Is Sheran the right man for the Mo?)

Thu 24 July: Rothes (H)
(The Speysiders visit Links Park for what must surely be the first time ever?)

Sat 26 July: Buckie Thistle (A)
(No, it's not Celtic...)

Admission for all the Links Park games will be £5 (OAPs/Juveniles £2) except the Aberdeen match which will be £10 (OAPs/Juveniles £5)

Unless you want to buy a season ticket at £120 (Family £140, OAP/Juvenile £60) which will be valid for the home games.

It's a tough schedule and hopefully it will help get the players into condition for the new season. Hope to see you there!
