Montrose were soundly beaten by three goals for the second week running, with Rovers gaining revenge for the defeats inflicted on them in the Cup and League earlier in the season.

Stevie Kerrigan was a notable absentee for the Mo with a knee injury with Spink coming in for his first game in ages. The rest of the team looked settled, and by all accounts Montrose dominated much the game. However it was Rovers who scored first through ex-Smokie, Jim Mercer, and McManus and Smith scored late on in the game to seal the points.

Can Henry Hall lift the side for next Saturday's visit from the improving Elgin City?
