Friendly, Saturday 24 July 2004, Links Park, Montrose. MONTROSE 1 (Sharp (50)) COVE RANGERS 0. On paper it looked like a bit of a grudge match. However, it didn't turn out that way, and it was a bit of a letdown really.

Kegsy, Smart and Webster were all missing from the squad which left us with 4 subs to Cove's 7.
