STENNY'S LATE STALEMATE

Scottish Football League Division Three, Saturday 4 December 2004, Ochilview, Stenhousemuir. STENHOUSEMUIR 1 (McGrillen, (84, pen)) MONTROSE 1 (Smart (26)).

Montrose draw a match which by all accounts we should have won. Smarty's first half goal gave Montrose the lead until six minutes from time, when Butter conceded the penalty that McGrillen put away.

However, we shouldn't be too glum as the point lifted us back into third spot with both Cowdenbeath and Queen's Park losing.
