NEW SIGNINGS... AT LAST!

Just like the number 47 bus, there's been nothing in the paper for weeks then four signings come along all at once. Firstly, Paul Doyle, on loan from Clyde last season, put pen to paper to make him a fully-fledged Gable-Endie.

Paul was one of our best players last season and he earned himself the title of MMSM joint player of the year.

Striker, Willie Martin, comes to us from Elgin City. He's 23 and can play either through the middle or wide right.

We also welcome midfielders Martyn "Foxy" Fotheringham (ex St Johnstone) and 29 year old Andy Cargill (ex Ayr and A******h) to Links Park. Martyn was reported to have been interesting Raith Rovers and Forfar. Andy's last season was marred by injury at Somerset Park and, after a loan spell at Cowdenbeath, he plumped for Links Park.

Good to see a mix of youth and experience coming into the club.

The Mo faithful will get a chance to see the new boys in action with home friendlies against Aberdeen (12 July), a recently-arranged fixture with Forfar on the 16th, Deveronvale on the 19th,  and the "now moved back a week" game against Duncan Shearer's Buckie on the 23rd.
