HENSLEE & REID SIGN UP

In an exciting week for Montrose, Henry Hall makes two more excellent signings in preparation for the new season. In the same week that compensation fees were agreed with Peterhead for the loss of Graeme Sharp and Martin Wood, Greig Henslee and Andrew Reid joined the club.

The signing of young Montrosian, Greig Henslee, is particularly sweet as he comes from arch rivals, Arbroath. The 22-year old midfielder was Arbroath's top scorer last season, and around the boards there seems to be lots of shaking of maroon heads that they have let him go. The club have been assisted by the Supporter's Trust in signing Greig, and no doubt the compensation from Peterhead may well be levered into paying off Arbroath.

The goalkeeping position, long a problem for the Mo since Davie Larter's departure, has been eased with Henry's other signing this week, Andrew Reid. The 20 year old was on Hibernian's books last season and has previously been with Nottingham Forest and Motherwell. Not a bad pedigree!

It all looks very promising, and with season tickets going on sale this week, the club will be hoping that the Mo supporters will back this push for promotion.
