  • Pepe uncertain over West Brom future

Despite securing three vital points against Norwich City on Saturday, West Bromwich Albion gaffer Pepe Mel stated today that he was still unsure over his future at the West Midlands club. When quizzed about the future of goal scorer Morgan Amalfitano, on loan from Marseille, Mel responded "I don't know where I am going to be next season".

  • Albion secure vital points in relegation battle

West Bromwich Albion claimed 3 vital points this weekend against fellow Premier League strugglers Norwich City. The victory – only Albion’s 3rd away win of the season, could prove to be a massive turning point in their survival hopes. The 3 points lifted West Brom to level points with Norwich, although the Baggies currently sit in 16th – a place higher than the Canaries and with a game in hand.

  • Preview: West Brom v West Ham United

West Bromwich Albion play host to West Ham this afternoon, with manager Steve Clarke announcing that he has six injury concerns ahead of kick off.  The two sides are separated by just 4 points in the league, with West Ham looking to move 7th above Norwich this afternoon, and just one place behind the Midlanders if they are victorious at the Hawthorns.

  • West Brom hoping to be a pain in the Arsene

5th placed West Bromwich Albion travel to 10th placed Arsenal this afternoon looking to pile extra pressure on to Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.  Arsenal have picked up just three wins from their last ten games at the Emirates Stadium, and last months 5-2 thrashing of local rivals Spurs seems a million light years away to Gunners fans who are becoming increasingly frustrated by their sides lack of progress this season.

  • Preview: Sunderland v West Brom

West Bromwich Albion travel to Sunderland today for their lunch time Premier League fixture, which could see them elevated to third in the table above Chelsea, for 24 hours at least if Clarke's men can collect all three points from Martin O'Neill's strugglers.  Sunderland's so far sparing from the bottom three is more down to the poor form of the five sides below them, although they sit just 3 points away from relegation places at present.

  • Preview: West Brom v Chelsea

Former West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo returns to the Hawthorns with Chelsea today, looking to end what has been their worst run under his management; three games without a win.  The recent bad spell has seen Chelsea slip to third in the Premier League table, from a position where they had been four points clear at the top.

  • Foster sees German specialist to combat groin injury

West Bromwich Albion keeper Ben Foster was today in Germany visiting a specialist in order to try and combat his recurring groin injury.  Foster has been carrying the injury since last season, and even missed part of pre-season after failing to shake off the problem.

  • Clarke confident West Brom can return to winning ways
