albion have agreed a £1.5m for Danny Shittu

Albion have agreed a fee of ?1.5 million with QPR for their Nigerian
international
defender Danny Shittu. There is also a 10% sell on clause in case of a future
sale.

Bryan Robson has been trying to tie up the deal with QPR for over a month
and he will be travelling to The Hawthorns tomorrow to discuss terms.

Qpr will receive an initial transfer fee of ?1.5 million and the remainder
will be paid in instalments.

Shittu could be part of the Albion squad to face Cardiff city at Ninian Park
next week if personal terms are agreed.

A deal is thought to be close taking Jason Koumas to Ninian Park, but he
is not expected to feature in the game in Cardiff next week.


Albion have been linked with a number of forwards in the last few days

David Nugent of Preston,Freddy Eastwood of Southend, and Neil Mellor at Wigan..
