Mowbray to get tough on non performers.

Tony Mowbray has Said names and past achievements Will count for nothing at Albion, and he is expected to offload payers in January,Such as Chris Perry, Steve Watson, Zoltan Gera and Maybe Nathan Ellington. Have they earned the right to stay ? Or for that fact, have any of the players. ?
When paying my money I expect to be entertained. I am bright enough to understand that it is unlikely I will see my team lift a major trophy.I doubt if i will see my team ever win the Premiership, i really cant see my team lifting the F.A.Cup, and as long as the likes of Mr Wenger, And Mr Ferguson continue to field weakened teams,i may just see us progress a little further in the whats it called this year cup. All I want is to see my team pay well, and hopefully win a large amount of games.
Before last weekend’s victory, I had looked around many other Albion message boards and seen people calling for Mowbray’s head already. Some were still blaming Robson and I even saw a couple of individuals having a pop at Megson!
I for one saw Megson as a hero. In my opinion he had something, he was capable of getting things out of our team where others have failed. Sir Gary brought the likes of Kanu, Gera, Greening and Koumas, all of whom without a doubt are good players. So why then did Robson fail to get a performance out of these players? And is Mowbray struggling to achieve the same?
The start of this season saw us right up there as promotion favourites. Why? This was a team which had survived by the skin of its teeth by 1 point on the last day of the season, then went down the following season with an apparent lack of effort (cheers Robbo).Remember Chelsea away ? Saving players for the Blues debacle. Robbo was rightfully sacked in my opinion; in fact I don’t think he should have even been in charge at the start of this season.
We chose to keep our stars and not let them leave in the belief that we are good enough to fly straight back up. So why are these players rarely performing in this division? Is it because we stopped them from moving on? Held them back in some way? Because if that is the case surely they should be performing to put themselves in the shop window so to speak? Let’s not forget, the club told us we were holding on to these players with one objective in mind – to achieve promotion, especially with the new incentives from Sky money next year.
We are nearing January, and hopefully Mowbray will make the changes necessary. He has already stamped his authority in forms by trying to solve the keeper situation. He has seen through Wallwork, and hopefully will have ideas about where to strengthen next.It may be asking a lot but a new keeper is a priority. Let’s get that holding midfield player we have been crying out for, for a few years now, and then maybe a central defender and forward can be added depending on whose sold.
