WBA v Plymouth - Team News as it happens

It was a disappointing weekend for Baggies fans last week. A 2-1 defeat at home to Hull City saw them drop to fourth in the table. A win for Albion this afternoon would not even see the go third, as third placed Watford have a five point advantage, although the Baggies do have a game in hand. Points this afternoon are vital to stay in touch with the pack.

West Brom’s away fixture to Wolves will be rescheduled due to their FA Cup quarter final game versus Bristol Rovers next Sunday, meaning that they will pick up yet another game in hand.

2pm:

Kevin Phillips is a doubt for this afternoon with a knee injury, and Gera is likely to drop to the bench.   Miller and Bednar are expected to start up front together, although Mowbray might had a first start to on-loan Luke Moore.

Albion have a tough task on their hands this afternoon, Plymouth currently sit just 1 place and 3 points behind the Baggies and have won their last four matches.   They have also won on three of their last four visits to the Hawthorns.  For Argyle, midfielder Jim Paterson is still absent with a hamstring injury, which is likely to mean that Gary Teale on loan from Derby County is likely to keep his place on the right.

Further Team news will appear here.
