Team News ahead of tomorrows FA Cup game

With the almost impossible happening today, West Brom will be all the more anxious to win tomorrow’s fixture at Bristol Rovers. Two 1-0 victories saw Portsmouth defeat Manchester United and Championship side Barnsley dump Chelsea out of the competition, in a year which is proving that the cup really could be anybody’s. That leaves Middlesbrough and Pompey as the only remaining Premiership sides.
Boro of course are yet to confirm their place in the semi’s, they face Championship side Cardiff City tomorrow.
Ahead of tomorrow’s other quarter final fixture between Bristol Rovers and West Bromwich Albion, Tony Mowbray will be boosted by the news that leading striker Kevin Phillips and James Morrison are both back to full match fitness after making substitute appearances against Sheffield Wednesday in the league midweek. Phillips notched up his 18th goal of the season in a 1-0 victory secured in the 94th minute of play.
Filipe Teixeira will be a definite to miss the game after receiving news this week that he faces a 9 month sit on the sidelines, and Roman Bednar and Carl Hoefkens will face late fitness tests after picking up knocks midweek.
Bristol Rovers await news on Chris Lines, David Pipe and Richard Walker who have all suffered a sickness bug this week, and Anthony Pulis on-loan from Stoke cannot feature in tomorrow’s fixture.
