After the excitement of Sunday’s 5-1 FA Cup Quarter final victory over Bristol Rovers, and the subsequent Semi final draw, it is back to league business tonight as West Brom prepare to take on Neil Warnock’s Crystal Palace at the Hawthorns. News on the injury to Filipe Teixeira have confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season.
On the plus side Albion have no fresh injuries to worry about as they turn their attention back to Championship opposition, and it is expected that Carl Hoefkens might win his battle for fitness. Jared Hodgiss looks set to retain his place in the starting line up if not.
Palace travel to the Hawthorns with three injury concerns. Paul Ifil is struggling to shift a hamstring injury, whilst former Wolves man Mark Kennedy remains a doubt with an Achilles problem. Niel Danns is unlikely to recover from a groin strain in time, and Mark Hudson will have to play a waiting game to see if Warnock includes hi in tonight’s squad after excluding him on Saturday because of a contract dispute.
