Yesterday was the first day that tickets for West Bromwich Albion’s FA Cup semi final clash versus Portsmouth on 4th April went on sale via Ticketmaster. At the end of sales the club have announced that sales have no reached in excess of 24,000, leaving an allocation of less than 9,000 up for grabs.

The club have urged fans to remember not to inundate their own ticket office for Wembley tickets, as only league fixture tickets remain on sale through them.  Ticketmaster will now handle all of West Brom’s ticket sales for the semi final clash, with the exception of season ticket holders and members who now only have until 5pm tomorrow to claim their seat, and can do so via the WBA online ticketing system or special hotline.

Season Ticket holders who wish to purchase one additional seat can do so through Ticketmaster only.  Sales are now open also via Ticketmaster to new season ticket holders (for the forthcoming 2008/00 season) who purchased their ticket before 17th March 2008, and supporters registered on the clubs database who have attended at least five home matches this season.

Tickets for all other supporters registered on the clubs database are expected to go on sale this Friday (28th March) subject to availability.

Ticketmaster can be reached on 0844 847 2454, and supporters are reminded to have their membership number and postcode to hand.  Ticketmaster will charge a postage and admin fee on all tickets purchased.  Phone lines reopen at 9am.
