Redknapp praises battling Baggies

For Harry Redknapp things could not be better at the moment. He has taken Portsmouth to only their fourth ever FA Cup final, having beaten West Bromwich Albion 1-0 yesterday at Wembley. But that hasn't stopped the Portsmouth gaffer from speaking out about yesterday's opposition, an Albion side that he admits had him troubled.
The two sides were separated by just once goal, ironically netted by former Baggie Kanu in the 54th minute.
But Harry Redknapp believes that West Brom can leave the disappointment of the FA Cup behind them and go on to win promotion from the Championship at the end of this season.
He said that Tony Mowbray's men were excellent and made a real game of it. It was an exhausting first half for his Pompey side, and Redknapp clearly gave his team some strong words at half time to lick start them into action for the last 45 minutes.
Harry admitted to be relieved at full time, conceding that it was a difficult game but a proud day for the club and its fans.
