Hold on to your hats - It's going to be some ride!

Never has a Championship table been so tight and so open at this stage of the season as it is this year. With just four weeks to go I still wouldn't want to bet my mortgage on who will grace the top 6 places, let alone in which order! So hold onto your hats and embrace the rollercoaster ride that is the end of the Championship season!

With 42 games played West Brom remain in a steady position.  Just one point behind the current leaders Stoke, it remains very much in their own hands. 

One of those remaining 4 games will be played at Molineux, against rivals Wolves on Tuesday.  As if a derby isn't high spirited enough, try playing it at the sharp end of the season when both sides are desperate to take all three points to reach their respective goals.

Wolves have played less games than any other side at present, having played just 41 fixtures.  An extra 6 points for them would throw them right back into the mix.  But McCarthy's men face a torrent of 3 games in 7 days, with tough opposition.  Starting with Albion, then Ipswich, then Cardiff City, all three fixtures at Molineux.

Stoke placed themselves back at the top of the table yesterday with a comeback victory at Coventry City.  Hull City, the recent 'inform' side were pegged back at the KC Stadium by QPR, and with Bristol City picking up just a point at home top Wolves the top 5 sides remain separated by only 3 points.

So the Baggies will be searching for maximum points to ensure their fate still remains in their own hands.
