Supporters of West Bromwich Albion will be forced to wait until at least mid July before they can get their hands on new home and away strips for the 2008/09 campaign. Despite best efforts from the club, a new shirt sponsor still remains to be found, with T Mobile having finished their sponsorship deal at the end of last season.
Chairman Jeremy Peace had been hopeful that promotion to the Premier League would attract million pound offers from the corporate world to have their company logo splashed on the front of West Brom's kit.
But no such deal has been found as yet, sparking rumours that the Baggies are struggling to pull in the figure they strive for.
Peace has commented that two or three deals remain in the pipeline, all of which are expected to be continued negotiations over the next fortnight. That means that an announcement as was expected to happen on Friday, will no longer take place.
