West Brom midfielder Robert Koren faces a spell on the side lines after picking up an injury during Albion's first pre season game on their mini tour of Holland and Germany. Koren limped off the field of play in the 59th minute of Albion's 2-1 defeat to German side Borussia Monchenglanbach.

Tony Mowbray has revealed that Koren faces a few weeks on the sideline having suffered knee ligament damage during a challenge.

The club are hopeful that the midfielder will make a quick recovery in time for the start of the new season.

Skipper Jonathan Greening also suffered a slight knock, but he is expected to make a full recovery in time for Albion's next friendly on Saturday versus Cologne.
