27 year old midfielder Robert Koren extended his contract with the Baggies this afternoon, extending his stay at the Hawthorns by a further two years, with an extra year in the clubs favour. Koren had an impressive season last year, hitting a double figure goal tally to help Albion win promotion as Champions.
Koren's deal comes just 48 hours after 29 year old Paul Robinson put pen to paper on exactly the same deal.
Gaffer Tony Mowbray is said to be extremely pleased that deals have been reached with both players.
But there was no such good luck for Goalkeeper Michal Danek, who was this afternoon on his way back to Viktoria Plzen after West Brom decided to terminate his extended loan deal at the Hawthorns.
Danek joined the Baggies in January, and was set to stay until this winter providing competition and back up for Dean Kiely. But the arrival of Scott Carson over the summer has left the 25 year old keeper surplus to requirements.
