Swedish centre-back on his way claim

West Bromwich Albion are on the verge of signing 25 year old centre-back Jonas Olsson according to his current club NEC Nijmegan. No official news has been reported by Albion, but the Swedish side have made public today that Olsson will sign for the Baggies subject to a medical.

Any fee for Olsson would be expected to be around the £1.7 million mark.

Rumours of this probable signing seem to be following the route of those that Valero took a few weeks back, with news breaking at their current clubs long before it did in England.
