Blackpool v West Brom postponed after pitch inspection

West Bromwich Albion's fixture against Blackpool has been postponed after a pitch inspection at Bloomfield Road took place at 10am this morning. Match officials were not happy that the condition of the frozen pitch would improve by the scheduled kick off time of 3pm, and so made an early decision to call the game off.

The fixture is one of two confirmed casualties of the weather in the Coca Cola Championship this afternoon, with Scunthorpe v Ipswich Town also being postponed.

No date has yet been announced for the rearranged fixture.
