Chris Brunt wins Baggiesworld player of 2009 poll

West Brom midfielder Chris Brunt has been named Player of 2009 by supporters on unofficial West Bromwich Albion website Baggiesworld. The 25 year old midfielder joined Albion in August 2007 for £3 million from Sheffield Wednesday, and has been a regular in Albion's first team since.

Brunt picked up 50% of the vote from supporters who participated in the poll.

In joint second place were Graham Dorrans and Jonas Olsson, who both secured 22% of the vote each. The remaining 6% of votes were divided amongs new players such as Jerome Thomas and Gonzalo Jara.
