Ex West Brom Captain Paul Robinson has made his stay at Bolton Wanderers a permanent one. The defender joined ex Baggies gaffer Gary Megson at the Reebok Stadium during the summer break, initially on a loan move. But Bolton signed the 31 year old today on a permanent contract for an undisclosed fee.

Robbo made the move to the Hawthorns in October 2003 for a fee of £250,000.  He made 237 appearances for West Bromwich Albion, bagging six goals.

Robinson was a popular and regular player at the club - although he fell out with fans briefly when he expressed a desire to leave the club to play Premiership football.  Despite the move to the top flight falling through after failing a medical, Robbo worked himself back into the hearts of Albion fans and into the first team.
