West Bromwich Albion's highly rated midfield star Graham Dorrans has picked up the Championship player of the month award for March. With 16 goals so far this season, the 22 year old is Albion's top scorer - and he has been a massive part of the side which looks certain to confirm promotion to the Premiership this weekend.

Dorrans was part of the winning Baggies side that bagged a massive 16 points from a possible 21 in March, a huge contributor to the distance they have now put between themselves and third placed Nottingham Forest.

The award, which is voted for by supporters, was awarded to Dorrans ahead of fellow Championshi players Billy Sharp (Doncaster), Darren Pratley (Swansea) and Andy Carroll (Newcastle).  Dorrans netted three goals in consecutive games for the Baggies during March.
