West Bromwich Albion have today rubbished claims that Roman Bednar is set to leave the club. Rumours broke early yesterday evening that Neil Warnock was mounting a £1.5 million bid to lure the Czech Republic international to QPR. However the club confirmed they have not received any official bids for the 26 year old, who is determined to be part of Albions Premiership campaign next season.

Neil Warnock is known the be an admirer of the West Brom striker, who got himself back in favour with Baggies fans last season after an FA ban over a drugs incident had forced his absence for a while.

However Bednar is determined to stay part of the Hawthorns set up as the club prepare to kick off their Premier League campaign.  Officials at the club have confirmed that Bednar is not on their list of players that they have marked as potential sales this summer.
