West Bromwich Albion have joined a handful of Premiership clubs in banning the Vuvuzela from their home games next season. Birmingham City were the first Midlands club to do so last week, and now West Brom have followed suit by enforcing a ban against the popular World Cup instruments at the Hawthorns.

Officials at the club felt that the Vuvuzela would contravene Premier League and Football League ground regulations, as well as being hugely unpopular with fans.

Last week WBA Baggiesworld asked Albion fans how they felt about the Vuvuzela, with over 85% voting in favour of a ban at the Hawthorns.  See below for full poll results:

Question: Should the Vuvuzela be banned from the Hawthorns next season?
Yes 85.26%
No 12.63%
Not bothered 2.11%
Number of votes: 95
