Postponed local derby set to go ahead in January

It's been twenty six years since West Bromwich Albion and neighbours Wolverhampton Wanderers crossed paths in England's top flight of football, and fans will have to wait a few more weeks yet before yesterday's postponed derby game at the Hawthorns is played.
The game between West Brom and Wolves was just one of several Premiership games to fall victim to December's 'big freeze', which looks set to continue well into the Christmas and New Year period.
The Christmas fixture list is already packed, and with FA Cup third round ties scheduled for early in January, it looks like the postponed derby match will not get a look in until at least the week commencing 10th January. An announcement on a new date will be made as soon as it has been arranged.
All tickets purchased for the original game will be valid for the rescheduled date.
