Odemwinge exit a possibility

West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has revealed that he will not stand in the way of striker Peter Odemwinge if he wants to leave the Hawthorns this summer. Having made his mark on the Premiership last season, the former Lokomotiv Moscow striker was widely linked to a series of other English top flight clubs.

But the Nigerian striker, who bagged 15 goals in his first season with the Baggies, had a quiet start to this campaign after being plagued by injury.

However, a hatrick against Black Country rivals Wolves, and a double strike against the inform Sunderland have been contributing factors to his recent rise in form, and as we all know a rise in form sets the transfer tongues wagging once again.

Arsenal are believed to be the latest club linked with Odemwinge, and his current gaffer Roy Hodgson revealed this week that whilst he would love the hitman to stay at the Hawthrons, they wouldn't be able to match an offer from a top four side such as Arsenal.
