Jason Koumas has been told he will have a major part in the wales team in the future by wales manager and ex Man Utd player Lee Hughes.

Koumas is not expected to start in Wales european championship qualifier on wednesday against Serbia & Montenegro but is expected to be bought on as a substitute.

"Jason has got real natural ability," commented Hughes.

"He has got a very big part in the future of my Welsh team. I thought he had a good year last season when you consider there were difficult circumstances because the team were struggling."

"But I am expecting him to do even better this season because I expect West Brom to have a very good season."
