West Brom release eight players as they prepare for life in the Premier League. Phil Gilchrist, Tamika Mkandawire, Joost Volmer, Alassane N'Dour, Morten Skoubo, Delroy Facey, Daniel Crane and most surprisingly Mark Kinsella have all been let go.

The players contracts were all up at the end of the season, and Megson decided that they would not have their contracts re-newed.

The most surprising player to be released was Mark Kinsella after the former Charlton and Villa midfielder has been on top form since joining the Baggies.

Alassane N'Dour and Morten Skoubo, who both joined the Albion on loan, will return to their clubs.
