West Brom today clinched their first signing of the summer by signing Leicester City defender Riccardo Scimecca. Foxes boss Mickey Adams signed Scimecca from Nottingham Forest for a Free Transfer last season.

Scimecca has been ever present for the Foxes this season after making 28 starts aswell as scoring 1 goal against Wolves. The former Villa man will almost certainly be confirmed as Albions first signing within the next coming days.

Meanwhile, Scimecca may not be Albions only signing this summer as manager Gary Megson took a trip up to Manchester to watch Manchester City defender/midfielder Danny Tiatto. Tiatto, who will be released on a free, caught the eye of Megson during the clubs first campaign in the Premier League.
Another target is Everton's Steve Watson. The Toffees have claimed that Albion have already made a bid for the former Villa man, but was rejected because it was knowhere near their asking price.
