West Brom have had a reported £3.5m bid for Cardiff's Robert Earnshaw accepted. The deal could include Albion's Sean Gregan heading the opposite way to Ninian Park.

Earnshaw is now believed to be at the Hawthorns discussing personal terms, then, if personal terms are agreed will undergo a medical.

A statement on Cardiff's official website read: "A fee for the transfer of Robert Earnshaw to West Brom has been agreed.

"The player has been given permission to talk to WBA and subject to the player agreeing personal terms and passing a medical, the transfer will be completed by the Premier League deadline.

"Until such time as the deal has been completed there will be no further comments from the club or its officials."

The deal is most likely to involve Albion skipper Sean Gregan, who is wanted by Cardiff boss Lenny Lawrence.

Earnshaw has an amazing goalscoring record of 104 goals since his Cardiff debut back in 1997.
