Kanu's Baggies Future In Doubt?

Albion striker Kanu's future came under the spotlight today after it was reported that he recieved "Several offers" from clubs in Holland, Spain and even the Premier League. An Albion spokesman denied such reports today by claiming that Kanu is "very happy" at the Hawthorns

Kanu was reported to have said: "Yes, a number of clubs have been coming to me especially from Spain, Holland and even from the Premiership.

"So far I am not doing badly in my present team and I cannot say for now that I am leaving them."

Kanu has quickly become a fans favourite at the Hawthorns, so any talk of a move this early into the season would come as a surprise.

An Albion spokesman was quick to deny such reports and today said: "Kanu signed a three-year deal in the summer and both the club and player are very happy."
