£750,000 Bid Agreed With Preston

Striker Scott Dobie is on his way out of the Hawthorns after the Baggies and the Lillywhites agreed a fee of £750,000 for his services.

Dobie, who was signed from Carlisle United by Gary Megson in 2001 for £150,000, will now use this weekend to think about the move.

At his first season with the Baggies, he finished as the clubs top-scorer, scoring 12 goals.

In 2002, former Scotland International manager Berti Vogts, included Dobie in Scotland tour of Asia, where Dobie scored on his international debut.

Since Dobie has been at the Albion he has scored 22 goals in 57 League appearances.
