Albion’s most well known player Kwankwo Kanu was reported to have questioned Bryan Robson’s managerial qualities yesterday according to a Nigerian football magazine.

Kanu was to have said "The team is full of inexperienced players; The management felt I was getting on their nerves when I advised them to get quality players. I was not dropped for my football, but purely on politics," Kanu told the magazine.”

Last Night Kanu came out and told the press ‘”I didn't say these things and I am very happy playing for Bryan Robson, I have said all along that we, as a team, don't need any distractions at the moment. That is another reason why I wouldn't say these things."

It is said to believe that Albion gaffer Robson has came out to say he believes Kanu and thought from the start that the comments were completely out of Kanu’s character.
