Transfer Speculation Of Liverpool Football Clubs Goalkeeper Chris Kirland To West Bromwich Albion Football Club On A Season Long Loan

Bryan Robson will explore the possibility of signing goalkeeper Chris Kirkland on a season-long loan.

Kirkland has been hit by a number of injuries since joining Liverpool from Coventry City in 2001 and with Anfield boss Rafael Benitez set to sign a new keeper this summer he may allow Kirkland out on loan to get some first team games under his belt.

Baggies boss Robson expressed some concern about the form of Russell Hoult during the season just ended and although number two Tomasz Kuszczak performed well when needed, Kirkland would provide extra competition for the number 1 jersey.
